Welcome to Kids Memory Game ("we," "us," "our"). We are committed to protecting the privacy and safety of children and all users of our game. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our Kids Memory Game application (the "App").

Important: This App is designed for children ages 5-10. We take extra care to protect children's privacy and comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

2. Information We DO NOT Collect

We want to be clear about what we DO NOT collect:

• ❌ No Names or Email Addresses — We do not ask for or store names, emails, or contact information

• ❌ No Third-Party Tracking — We do not allow third-party analytics to track children
• ❌ No Behavioral Advertising — We do not show personalized ads to children

3. Information We May Collect

3.1 Game Progress Data (Stored Locally Only)

The App stores the following data locally on your device:

• High scores
• Unlocked achievements
• Game settings (sound on/off, difficulty level)
• Theme preferences

This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

3.2 Optional Analytics (Privacy-First)

If you are an adult user (not a child), we may collect anonymized analytics using Plausible Analytics:

• Page views (which screens are visited)
• Session duration (how long you play)
• Device type (mobile, tablet, desktop)
• Browser type

Plausible Analytics is: GDPR compliant, Cookie-free, Does not collect personal data, Does not track across websites, and Does not use persistent identifiers.

You can opt out of analytics by disabling them in Settings.

4. Parental Gate

To protect children, we use a Parental Gate for certain features such as accessing external links, making purchases, or changing analytics settings.

The Parental Gate requires completing a simple task that young children cannot easily solve, such as solving a math problem or entering a specific birth year.

5. Third-Party Services

• GitHub Pages: Hosting service that may collect server logs.
• Plausible Analytics: Privacy-first analytics (if enabled).
• Payment Processors: Apple App Store / Google Play Store handle all payments.

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not collect personal information from children under 13.
